Emily of New Moon

Although I love Anne because she was my first introduction to L. M. Montgomery books, I feel a special closeness for Emily of New Moon. She is a shy introvert who spends most of the time in her dream world. And she's a writer.

Is it a coincidence that the main character in the Mystekos series is also named Emily? Probably not. Although I didn't specifically name her after this character, I have loved this name ever since reading these books.
